Terms of use

General

  • You should be of minimum 16 years of age to use the app
  • We reserve the right to partially edit, modify, or correct the content posted by you to suit the platform.
  • By accepting these Terms of Use, you agree to indemnify, save, and hold us, the company, its affiliates, contractors, employees, officers, directors, agents and its third-party suppliers, licensors, and partners harmless from any and all claims, losses, damages, and liabilities, costs and expenses, including without limitation legal fees and expenses, arising out of or related to Your use or misuse of the Services.
  • You warrant to us that you have created your entries, that you own all of the copyright in those entries, and that our use of the entries in accordance with these rules will not infringe any person's intellectual property rights or other legal rights.
  • You grant to us an exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable licence to copy, store, edit, distribute, transmit and publish your submitted content.
  • We reserve the right to deny access to the Service to any User for any reason at any time. We may remove, edit, and/or monitor content or accounts we believe violate these Terms of Use.
  • We prohibit posting of content with external advertisements.
  • We reserve the right to distribute Your Content posted on Cretorial by giving you due credits.
  • You agree that: (i) You own the Content posted by You on or otherwise have the right to grant the right/licenses for it as set forth in these Terms of Use; (ii) Your Content must not infringe on the rights of other Users, including, without limiting to privacy and publicity rights, copyrights/trademark and/or other intellectual property rights.
  • All Content posted by the Users will be non-confidential and non-proprietary.
  • If You are caught in the act of infringing on other’s Content, we reserve the rights to disable your account.
  • Premium Subscription Purchase is Non-refundable, Non-transferrable
  • All disputes arising out of this agreement or in respect of the scope, interpretation, or rights or obligations of any of the parties, the same shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at NOIDA/NEW DELHI only.
  • We reserve the right to conduct a plagiarism check on content submitted by users.
  • Cretorial reserves the right to change terms of use without prior notice.
  • We use a third-party service for image detection. Kindly refer to the terms of service and privacy policy here. For any matter related to the third party, you will have to contact the third party directly and Cretorial will not be held responsible for the same.

Contest

  • Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • The duration of the contest is as mentioned on the Contest screen in the app.
  • Any entries received before the opening or after the closing of the contest will be invalid and will not be considered in the contest.
  • The results of a contest will be announced in our app within 30 days after the closing date of the contest.
  • All submitted entries will be first checked for appropriateness. Only valid entries will be judged by a jury appointed by Cretorial.
  • Our decision in respect of all matters related to the contest will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • The entries will be checked by the content team on submission and will be qualified on the basis of the criteria defined by Cretorial.
  • The selected winner(s) will be featured in the app and/or on social media channels owned by Cretorial.
  • All other personal details collected as part of the contest will be used in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.
  • Cretorial reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the contest.
  • Entry into the contest will be deemed as acceptance of all terms and conditions mentioned on this page.
